A cold chill, a winter’s breeze the feeling of bone chilling touching the skin sent creeps and shivers against the soul. In but a moment, small white rabbits took off across the pads of snow that laid in the ground, spotting the ground with tinges of red from their paws that dipped into the river. The sound of a few birds chirping in the distance caught the attention of predators as they skulked along the winter ground, touching the snow with their black noses to hide them deeper from their prey. Trees blanketed with a soft snow, the wind blowing through was soft as it brushed the new snow from the top of the piles. This causing a slight fog of fresh snow flakes to cover the view of the blood red river.

With fur covered boots, that reached up the leg, tucking in underneath the black velvet skirt that covered the rest of her skin. The touch of the cold breeze causing goose bumps to cover the barren skin between the folds of clothing, from the long sleeved sweater to the small skirt and boots. As the body moved forth, the snow took deeper as the stepped into the plush softness, the sound of snow making a soft crinkle sound as the heavy boots moved through the snow in a slow pace. Arms crossed over the woman’s chest as she moved through the soft rain of fresh snowflakes. Her small black scarf covering the under half of her face, tying around her neck. Luckily her long black hair laid thickly around her shoulders to keep her shoulders warmer.

The echo of winds howling surrounded the being as it moved deeper into the darker portions of the woods, howling of wolves echoed against the branches as she moved into the windy snow fluff. The dangerous whisper of un-concentrated hearing made it apparent if one had a disability in this thick fog. But onwards she went into the thickness of the snow, the cold was comforting against the heated female body, the blood coursing hot through her veins. Her breath was like a cloud of smoke as she exhaled into the cold air that surrounded her. Sounds of creatures surrounding her made her head twitch in certain directions, her mind was not still as she moved through the snow. The eerie sounds of the woods was made extravagant by the surroundings that froze he bone.

With footsteps more silent than that of whispers in the wind, with a smile more deviant than the devils that danced in circles during time of solstice. The monster crept behind foot prints in deep snow, filling slowly with loose snow that blew across the tops, shivering to the bone. With a black cloak surrounding the body, sheltering it from the busty winds that hollowed through the trees. With lips like a sinner, a tongue like a snake would wisp across the surface wetting them before retracting back into the cold warmth. For a moment, silence rung through the forest, with nothing but the un concentrated sound of a whistling breeze.

White hands gripped onto the trees as the form passed through the shady breeze, lost in the fluffs of snow the paled face man erupted from the thicket of bushes. With a soft whisper he spoke into the night, ‘’Sing Tai…Chou Terrack.’’ After speaking his eyes found a sound, the clumping of snow could be heard with his sensitive ears, over the years he had gotten better at pin pointing his prey. This time was no different. In one fell swoop, he moved from the tree thickets and moved along the tops of the snow. As death was his being, he left no footsteps behind as he trudged after this new found soul. With concentration his eyes focused and in the distance he saw this brown haired woman.

Taking a deep breath of the chilled air, his eyes forced back onto the woman finding that her smell was that of a human. Quickly he trotted forwards, at least fifteen feet behind her as his head tilted and stared her down for a moment. He couldn’t think if she was a student if he would get into any trouble for taking her life, or perhaps even changing her if she would let him. But he grew hungry and he grew cold his fingers clung unto the cloak that surrounded him, holding it closer as he leapt from tree to tree, hoping that his silence and the snow flakes were enough cover so he could plan if he was going to attack. The smell of her blood was enticing and very inviting, he bit down onto his rose lips, causing a small drop of blood to rise and fall against his lip, quickly lapping it up. ’’Sing Tai…Chou Terrack…’’ He repeated his words, as they lost their way in the snow flaked wind.

Boot covered feet, raised then dropped into the crush of the white snow making a soft crunching sound as she moved forward into the bushel of bushes ahead of her. Hands moved out in front of the body, pushing branches from her face the snow fell gently from the height of the branches. Covering the shine of silver on her hands in a soft plush of white frost. Moving past the branches, ducking her head as she moved into a slight open spot where she would have to duck or hide from snow covered branches. Lifting her hand up and brush the snow from the silver plate that covered her hand, in this motion should could see a dark shadow in the reflection of her hand.

Her face went pale, her dark tan disappearing from the gentle curves of her jawline and arms as they were exposed in the gentle snow drift. Her hands fell from before her and covered her mouth as a soft yelp escaped from her lips as she calmly moved forwards. She tried to remember which way it was to the school and she turned and quickly walked behind a few barren trees, knowing that this wouldn't be enough for cover, her hands dropped down to her sides and swayed quickly in the snow drift as she tried to move through the deep impact of the cold walls of snow surrounding her ankles.

She had seen these creatures before, dark shadows that cling onto the night lurking from place to place with but a pale face and a crooked smile on their lips. This caused her to freak out, she didn't know what to do. She did not want this to be her last night to enjoy the winter snow that fell in the mountains that hid behind Caislin Hallows. She could feel the way the earth moved and she knew that if she could run down through the snow, she could make it back to the school in enough time to make it back safe. This she pondered and didn't know what to do at this point.

Taking a deep breath, the dark skinned woman wrapped her arms around her waist for just a moment to warm up her frigid little digits that turned red from the frosted wind against her skin. Taking another deep breath she quickly took off running through the woods headed back to the school, she got a ways down the hill before she raised her voice and started to scream. ''SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!'' She screamed at the top of their voices then ran through the woods, branches whipping at her face and exposed skin on her arms. Leaving marks all along her arms and face, once again she raised her voice, screaming towards the school, hoping someone was close by or at least by an open window. ''Oh Please! In the name of the goddess! Someone help me! There's a creature that's going to kill me!!!!''

I need to get away for a while. I need some time alone. A thought that Logan made as those black leather boots crushing the white snow beneath his feet. He has just came from the directions of Caislin Hallows only to be betrayed and taught that a true path is not always the real path or what the boy told. Those hands slides right inside his jeans pockets to keep his hands moderately warm from this winter’s breeze. He has his long sleeve tangerine shirt on with his black leather jacket over his shirt. Luckily, this leather jacket will keep him somewhat warm to the touch. His blue polyester jeans that hangs down to his ankles with his black leather belt around his waist to hold up his pants. He has his white socks and black leather boots on both of his feet.

The cold winds brushing along his face including his form, and it feels…quite natural. Like the natural coldness that he once been. For a native werewolf, such as him, this is just normal for him. Though, he has never felt the touch of the icy breeze in all his life, but this is gonna be the first experience in the cold. A hand rise up and goes on his forehead in hopes to see more clearly from the cold winds. The movement has become slowed because of the snow rising just below his knee as it makes a soft crunching sound when the boots meets with the softness of the snow, but that didn’t stop from preserving forward to the unknown. Those hands rise up from his jeans pockets as his breath exhaling the cold air from his lips.

Those cold teal hues gaze to the snow-covered trees, those trees that are covered with the plush softness of the snow. It amazed to see the snow cover such an inorganic being. So this what the outside feels like… I should come here often. He duly noted at the back of his mind as those hues reach to the top of the sky. He could bare see the sky over his head, but that’s enough to bring the lightest of smiles on those lips. He never knew that being outside can be so…refreshing and invigorating to know at least. Quickly, he shakes his head as those hand starting to feel slightly numb, so he quickly claps both of his hands together and rub them together to create heat before slowly making his attempt over to the woods for some…peace and quiet.

Well, time to head over there… but then, he heard something faint from the distance. At first that his mind is playing trick on him again and wants to basically ignore it. Going through the woods he goes, his hand swat away the oncoming branches as he moves through as such a steady pace. There’s that voice again, this time more clear and precise. It looks like someone is in immediate danger. Quickly, he must act as those boots hurried through the snow to find the source. Those cold hues caught a glimpse of a silhouette at about twenty feet or so that's going straight over to Caislin Hallows. He couldn’t clearly see who it was, but Logan quickens the pace in hopes that he could get close to the one who is through the wood in time. Sounds of snow crunching leaving his boot imprint behind after each step.

She ran, like there wasn't anything left to live for but the thud and crunch of the fresh snow beneath her feet. Like a dark shadow she ran through the trees, ducking her way through large branches as other smaller pieces smacked against her arms and cheek bones. Causing the woman to grit her teeth, baring the sharp cinch of pains the cold wind causing the small cuts to seem larger and more painful then they actually were. Taking a deep breath she jumped over a log that laid covered in snow and showing sharp point of broken limbs that cracked from the force of falling against the ground. '' No no no...'' She spoke beneath her breath, in between the harsh exhaling breath that came in spurts.

Hands reached down and gripped the skirt with small flailing tears and rips, holding it so when she ran it would not catch on anything more. Landing from the drop over the tree log, her ankle cracked and she fell into the deep snow. Hands out in front of her as she dropped and fell into the two foot deep snow patch. Letting out a small cry she lifted her hands quickly and shook the snow that stuck onto the clothing that she had been wearing, small gloves and her losing warmth jacket. The form moved up and then toppled over once again, the pain in her ankle causing her to whine just slightly. She thought quickly, that creature was still after her and she quickly huddled against the tree log, kicking at the snow to make it fall together as if there was no foot steps or body print there before hand.

She took a deep breath, and held her hands over her mouth in her head she was praying that this creature would not find her. That she could return to the village that was nice and warm and very forgiving about the random strangers that stalked their streets. At the moment she thought of Dionysus and how she could really use his help at the moment. He wasn't anything more than a dragon, so he had to stay at school where it was warm, the snow would have killed the poor thing. And now she sat there, mystified about the entire monument of it all, how silly she had been about going into a new place on her lonesome once again. Her heart faded into a soft beat where it was falling behind so she could calm herself before her hard beating heart made her found out by this creature. She hushed quietly, not even having her bag of Talisman belongings on her, she felt so useless caught in this simple tragedy.

He moved quickly, like the lion that chased so eagerly after it's deer. After days of being starved it would chase faster, in this case the man watched as the woman realized he was there stalking her against the cold shrivel sound of the wind. His voice was like that of a bad nursery rhyme stuck in ones head. ''Tai Ching, Duio Xai..'' His voice exploded against the hollows the trees and through the cold splinters of flakes that came down in a tumble.

Gray hues shot about through the trees, to watch as the young woman ran for her so called life through the trees when he could so easily just catch up. As she was going down hill, that would help her matter thus far but as for the hunt, well, he's had a lot of practice with this subject. Say a few hundred years or so. So Michael knew what he was doing as he launched himself after this female prey, chasing her through the damaged branches and broken tree's. With but a smile on his lips, he kept a slow pace behind her, his footprints not appearing as he moved through the snow without even a crinkle of sound.

Then another scent came to him, the smell of someone who was male. This made Michael's face contort in displeasure, someone was here other than his prey. Something was watching them as she ran like a lunatic through the woods with but a shadow chasing after her. He leaned against an overly large tree, slipping in it's shadows as the darkness overtook him and with but a smile he stayed here. He could see the girl, hiding behind the stump of wood but he wouldn't move forward again. Only but waving to her, with his crooked smile as his fang on the left side pierced from beneath his grin. In a moment she would look and see, and in other he had disappeared from their sights all together.

After running through the woods after the dark silhouette, those teal orbs glancing around for a quick second. Logan somehow gets the feeling that he’s not alone. Those cold teal orbs looks straight up at the branches. Those feet continues to sprint forward through the woods as those eyes continues to look at the dark silhouette in the distance until he has lost sight of it. When that happens, he came into a stop as a couple of pants was made through his lips. Cold air is shown when he exhales with each puff. Those eyes darts around the woods trying to find the silhouette. He starts to move forward whole looking about for that silhouette. It wasn’t hard to find it until it was gone. Those eyes slowly closed as he takes a deep breath, trying to recall what his superiors has tell him at a times like this.

If you are looking for someone and you cannot seem to find that someone, then try going into a higher position..

That’s it! That’s the solution. Going into a higher position to find that silhouette. Those eyes slowly open to show the yellow gleaming like caution lights. Logan moves forwards in a normal pace at first, then he moves a little faster than normal. Those small branches slaps against Logan making small nicks and cuts across his leather jacket. He leaves a moderate streak behind him until he has reaches on top of a hill of some sort. He took a couple of breaths before he takes a couple of steps back to ready himself. Then, he runs forward before he leaps off at the edge of the hill. His boy lunge forward only to land on top of a bigger branch that is covered in snow. He made a minor slips after his land, but he has regain his balance.

His yellow eyes gazes down the hill as he quickly sees a glimpse of something. Maybe if he moves closer, he’d get a better look of what it was. So he did, his knees bent only to leap off of that branch to land on the other branch right across from it. As he lands, a pile of snow falls off the branch and lands on the snowy ground. Still didn’t get a good look, so he leaps off of one branch and into another branch, slowly moving down the hill only by hopping off of the big branches. Once he has reached to the bottom of the hill, Logan stands on the bigger branch while feeling the cold winds touching his face. Slowly, crouching down to look at the fallen log that is covered in snow below him. His hand rests against the tree as those yellow orbs takes a care look at that fallen log. Then, he stands up and bend both of his knees. Leaping off the bigger branch only to lunge forward and land twenty feet over the fallen log.

When Logan lands on the snowy ground, he lands on one knee as those looks from side to side. Slowly he stands up from the position that he as in, only to turn himself around and slowly move forward. Logan looks around while moving forward with that calm expression on his face. Closer and closer he goes, his boots leaving snowing imprints behind him before he reaches close to the snowy log. Those eyes raise glares at the girl that is hiding so close to the fallen log. Hmm… Those eyes lowers a bit only to see that she’s such a bad shape. She's like a wounded cub running from somewhere or from someone. Silence seems to echo in this snowy mountain, but a part of him wants to help her and take her to somewhere safe, somewhere safe and warm. Logan would slowly take off his leather jacket only to reveal his long sleeve orange shirt. Once that is done, he slowly crouches down and simply offers her his jacket just to keep her warm. If she accepts it or not then he’d turns himself around to give her a piggyback ride back to somewhere close. His head turns to the side to see the wounded woman would do.

The sound, the echo of footsteps through the crunch of the snow. Listening like a broken child hiding in the closet, waiting for their boogey man to walk further from their safe spot. Here she trembled with fear, listening to the sounds of the forest through the soft winds that howled with snowflakes dancing through the skies. Shifting in snow, covering lost paths along the footed holes of deception lied scattered about and driven from the warm destination that lied only a few hundred feet down hill from her.

Then sounds, the sound of snow falling from above, the echo of the creaks of branches that moved in the winters grip. The shattering sound of silence filled the air once more, sending the woman into a manifest of thoughts and deciphered riddles. The sound of foot prints taunted her hearing once again, hands fell over her ears, as lips curled inwards and forced the mouth to close, keeping it from showing her place by a simple scream. The long strands of dark hair covered and straggled around the woman's face causing her to see nothing, but only listen closely as she possibly could.

Her thoughts ran vivid as the sounds of the crunching snow came closer and closer to her spot behind the fallen tree log. Then silence fell again, and she could feel the presence of another being, right beside her the sound of crinkling garments met her accusations. In a moment the woman had her hands pulling back the loose strands of hair that dotted along her face, revealing the dark toned skin and larger brown eyes as they stared up to this man. She didn't recognize him, but she knew his actions to be true and just, she would have felt the presence of an evil being coming to take her last breaths away. This man seemed true, and kind, his offer was not neglected as the woman reached out and took the jacket from his hand.

Carefully she started to stand up once again, her high boots came in handy as she leaned against the fallen branch letting her sore ankle lift from the ground for a quick relief of pressure. Taking a deep breath, the woman lifted her arms and quickly let the jacket fall against her shoulders, pulling it closed then popping a button on so it would stay like so. In a calm, shaky voice the woman spoke to him,''T-T-Thank you sir...'' Oh how she wished she would have paid closer attention in school, then she would be more knowledgeable in what his name possibly could have been. She watched as he turned around, which only made her face flush as he motioned for a piggy back ride.

Hunni stepped up and hobbled over towards the man, she gently placed her hand on his shoulder and gave him a small smile. ''I'd hate for you to have to carry me all the way back down this treacherous hill.''

Logan has never been thanked in all his life. So, this is what is like to being thanked for the first time. His thought says so, and for some reason, it felt…pretty good. In fact, that little comment made Logan smile just a little bit before returning to his calm expression. Logan closes both of his eyes only to take a deep breath and exhale out a cold air that seems visible to his eyes as they are slowly opened. Even without his leather jacket, Logan is suitable to this cold conditions for a while. A hand is felt against his shoulder as those gleaming yellow hues turns to the dark toned woman with that smile on her face, ‘I’d hate for you to have to carry me all the way back down this treacherous hill.’Those hues blinks twice as Logan was a little confused before he actually knows what he has meant.

Slowly he stands up only to look over the distance as the cold winds touch his face and his orange shirt. His hand moves right above his eyes only to get a good look over the distance and thinking of the next action. He slowly crouches down as he raised his index finger meaning ’Hold on. I’ll be back in a moment.’ Then, Logan gets up only to turn around and run off to take a look at the downward hill. Those yellow-tinted hues gazes at it just to survey. Those yellow hues are lowered some, this…will be a slight problem, but I think I can handle this. I'm a native werewolf from another land after all. There are small branches that are in the way when going downhill. It would be a total pain to move down the hill only to get cuts and scrapes.

So, he turns himself around and sprints back over to the fallen log and where the dark toned woman is. Unfortunately, he has left his notepad back at his dorm, and with no means of communication, how can he respond to her. His hand reaches down inside his pants pocket to pull out a folded piece of paper from it. Luckily, he has his pen on his pants pocket, so he pulls it out as well. Quickly, he clicks the pen and unfolds the paper enough so, he can write it. He writes down a message on that piece of paper using the palm of his hand as a base.

~Its…no problem…No problem at all. In fact, this is the first time I’ve been thanked. So…your welcome..~

A light nod is made while writing another message right below his previous one. ~The name‘s Logan. As you can tell, I can‘t speak as I‘m a mute, and besides. It wouldn‘t be a bother to me. Just…to find the snow a bit chilly to know at least. Anyway, are you alright miss. And my offer still stands on carrying you out of here. So, do you want a piggy back ride or do I have to carry you like a princess on one of those fairy-tales.~ For some reason, a smile is made on his lips when he wrote about princess and fairy-tales. He clicks the pen and slides it down back inside his pants pocket as he crouch back down and tries to hold her hand against his. His touch was gentle at most. Then, he attempts to place the piece of paper against her hand. Carefully, Logan waits patiently in the snow while those yellow-tinted hues looks straight at the woman’s brown eyes.

The silence of this boy alarmed Hunni slightly, as she was so worried of having upset the man into such a frenzy that he would not even speak to her. Then his finger came into view, with a slight bow she gave a smile and allowed for his moment to come as her eyes fell upon her ankle that was now covered in snow. Hiding in jesters of cold flakes and long boots, what a joy it had been wandering through the blood stained forest, how simplistic the world was washed in white and dots of red with hues of brown that hazed like bars in view of sight. This man was slight unsettling, but at the same time quite comforting in his silence all this while. Watching as he surveyed the area, in her heart she knew she was right it would be too dangerous for them both to be in one contained area of gravity as the hill was sloped quite a bit. Trying not to, but in the end a soft smile pierced against her lips. Hating to be the damsel in distress type, this was at least a beautiful scenery to get caught amongst.

Then the sound of paper rustling into one another was heard, slightly the woman leaned up and tried to see what this man had in his secrets. The clicking sound of the pen clicking caught her off guard and causing her to jump at the sound. Balancing herself against the snow covered log, her dress suit staining wet from the touch of cold snow against what little warmth there was left in her body. In a quick haste it would seem, with bright hues staring into her own he pushed a paper towards her, his hand was cold against her body and it sent a shudder through her as the touch of paper was felt. Lifting her hand, as his was attached still, she lifted the hands then took the paper gently from him. With a gentle smile towards him, she opened the paper up between her fingertips and read what was written in his neatly printed hand writing.

Brown hues scanned over the small piece of paper and she would only blush slightly at the words that were written across the small paper. Her head shook with a smile stuck on her face, a hand lifted and patted his shoulder gently as her eyes set on the side of his face for a moment. ’’Well, I am honored to be the first to do so, and let me say, it is absolutely riveting to see a gentleman like yourself.’’ She would give him a gentle bow, but said nothing on the matter of being carried down the hill. The hand that rested on his shoulder, released and quickly she hopped her way to a straight standing tree as she stared down the hill towards the bottom of it.

A cold palm of his hand is pressed against the tree as those yellow hues gaze down at the slope of the hill. Carefully, the gaze reaches to the bottom of the hill. Is there another way other than taking this slope? His mind wanders for the answer to the question. A cold air expels from his lips as he can feel the coldness around his form. He begins to shiver from the cold air lightly, as the cold air is slightly affecting him. He wraps his arms around himself to warm himself up for a while before moving his arms from his form. Those yellow hues turns to the young woman while listening to her words. A lone brow was raised at the words ‘gentleman‘. Those cheeks starts to warm up a shade of pink. Those words, those kinds words the woman say to him. It made him smile again, yet slightly embarrassed by this. He never been called a gentleman let alone a riveting one. Then again, a part of him thinks that he’s not that riveting nor a gentleman. Sure, he took Formalities one time, but that’s because he was curious about the class and was dragged into it like moths to a flame.

Those eyes looks away from the woman. That woman, she has this aura, almost the same one as that person, but heartwarming. Quickly, he shakes his head to try to get away from this. His heart was already broken once because of this ‘false hope’. Those eyes gaze down to her ankle before gazing back at her eyes. First, he needs something to help her ankle or to act as a crutch. His hand moves from the standing tree only to turn and gaze down on the snow for something. His form slinks down as those cold hands moves through the snow to find a fallen branch to act like a walking stick or a crutch. A hand seems to feel something hard only to grab onto a piece of branch that can act like a crutch, so she can walk a bit more. Logan stands up and lightly shakes the piece of branch of all the snow, but it’s still a little wet and a bit cold.

I guess this will do… With the piece of branch in hand, he goes over to the woman as his other hand reaches inside his backpocket to grab a folded piece of paper with the pen. He puts the branch down beside him as Logan unfolds the paper as he starts to write a message for her to read in clear handwriting using his palm for support. ~May I ask your name please?~ After that is done, he tries to remember something from before, and then it hit him. He remembers that he saw a trail with a couple of animal footprints that’s not to far from here when he first came up this hill. So, he wrote another one underneath the previous one.

~There’s an animal trail not too far from here. I kind of saw it when I was exploring this place and going up the hill. The slope there is not that dangerous there, and its probably more easier for us to go down if we are careful. Don’t worry, you just have to trust me if we want to get to a warmer place. Besides, this hill is dangerous for us. Oh! I have this piece of branch you can use like a crutch. It'll probably help you walk a bit easier, don't you think so?~ Logan moves closer to the woman as he tries to hand her the piece of paper in his hand, so that she can read it. Once she has the piece of paper, Logan would just observe her only to take two steps back and presents her a piece of branch that can act like a crutch for her ankle. If she grabs it or not, Logan would point to the direction of where the animal trail is. Then, his hand extends out for him to grab on, if she insist.

In silence she watched as the man moved back and forth, checking the hill then their surroundings. For a moment she took a deep breath and allowed the moments to pass as the cold was beginning to soothe her ankle’s pain. Watching as he leaned over and started digging through the snow for something. She was quite confused on the man’s mannerisms for the moment but only held the best intentions within her heart. He had saved her for the day and for this she was quite grateful, no matter the manner of her behavior. She watched as his face was flush with a soft pink color, which made her smile that much bigger. She didn’t mean to make him uncomfortable, but she was a kind person at heart and would treat those that treated her well, with kindness in return.

The rustle of paper was heard again, and she watched his hands as they were busy writing once again. She felt so sad for him, because he couldn’t speak and express those words through full-filled emotions. But she watched in amazement of this man and reached out towards his hand as he pushed the paper towards her again. She unfolded the paper a bit an started reading it once again after she was done reading, she would only smile as she curtsied him then stood back up, folding her hand over her stomach. ’’My name is Terrence Hunni Genova, you may call me by either of my names if you’d like.’’ She would bow her head towards him, then continued reading on about a path way and some animal tracks. This concerned her, animal tracks, you never know what kind of creatures were lurking beyond the darkness and the shield of the trees.

’’Are you sure we would be safe going that route sir? What if a bear or something comes to prey on the wounded?’’ Her heart sank and for the moment, she was more depressed that she was after her ankle cracked under pressure. Today was quite a day, and she didn’t know how much more surprises she could honestly take. A shake of her head and the sound of movement over the snow echoed in her mind, a smile on her face as he presented her with a stick. Thick and long enough for her to use as a walking stick to relieve some of the pressure from her ankle. Taking it in hand, she bowed her head to him, and rested it on the ground with her hand grasping the top of it. Leaning against it, she could hear it creak and crack under her weight which made her worry in turn. Those brown hues lifted to lay on the man before her again, a smile shifting against the dark petals.

His hand extended out to her, and a soft blush fell over her face. What a troublesome girl she was when it came to such matters. She was so independent, yet when she was in trouble, she was such a little child that needed to be saved. Thinking of this, she shook her head and gave a little smile as her hand reached out to grasp onto his, stabling herself between him and her stick as she nudged her head forwards. ’’Lead the way dear gallant knight.’’ She could only smile, with a soft giggle coming to her lips.

A nod of his head is shown of her head, but sadly couldn’t speak of her name. Its sad that he cannot speak to others or express his emotion to others. All he can do is write what he feels in pen, so he just nod in acknowledgment of her name with his calm expression on his face. His extended hand gently grabs onto Hunni. Those yellow tinted orbs gaze towards her hand feeling somewhat a little uneasy about this, but all and all he seems comfortable about this. It gave him the confidence to get of the snowy forest in one piece.

‘Lead the way dear gallant knight.’

There goes that blush again. That soft shade of pink creeping up on both of his cheeks. A knight. A person who protects others. A person who’d sacrifice their brave soul just to save a single soul. Those eyes turns away from Hunni as those eyes are quickly shut from being slightly embarrassed. Quickly, he shakes his head from side to side, taking a deep breath and exhales a cold air from his lips. With those eyes open, he guides her to the direction of the animal pathway. Those boots meets the crunching sound with it meets with the soft snow. His pace was normal, not too fast nor slow. Just at a casual pace to move side by side.

Those coldness of the steel shackle on his wrist is cold to the touch, but that doesn’t bother the man one bit. Logan carefully guide her to the animal pathway that is not to far from here. Then, those yellow hues gazes over to the animal tracks, possibly wolf tracks from the size of it. He realized that he’s almost there to the pathway, so he continues forth to find way that he mentioned Hunni in writing. Then, those boots comes to a halt only to see the pathway before them. It is as Logan mentioned, the slope is not that dangerous and the pathway is winding with bends and curves along the way, but the path stays true as it goes all the way down to the end.. There are also branches along the way to impede the path, but that’s nothing worth to bare. After observing the animal trail, his gaze lingers back to Hunni as his hands moves from her grasp.

His hands reached down inside his pants pockets to find anymore piece of paper that lingers there. Luckily, he has one inside his backpocket as Logan pulls it out and unfolds it. His other hand pulls out a pen only to begin scribbling down a message. ~Well, if you insist, I’ll call you Hunni or rather write you Hunni hehe. Anyway, here’s the pathway. The slope here is not dangerous, but let’s be careful when going down because of the branches.~ Another message is written underneath the previous one, ~Don’t worry, I’m sure that this route is safe for us to cross. Besides, I think bears hibernate in this winter area, I think. If anything happens…I’ll protect you from harm. I won’t let anything hurt you because...you have a knight to protect you and to guide you to safety, right?~

Logan folds up the paper only to extend his hand out, so she can take it. Once she took it, Logan takes his first step on the pathway to check on the slope. Carefully, another step is taken hoping for a stable slope. His arms carefully balance himself before resting on his sides. A smile curls up on his lips as this pathway is good to take as the slope is quite stable. His attention turns to Hunni as he extends his hand once more to grab on with that smile never faded from his lips. If she grabs on to his hand, then he’d carefully guide her on this pathway. He hopes that there aren’t any dangerous animals lurking about in the snowy field.

As he walked, she would follow holding tight from the hand that helped keep her balance. Watching her feet and the stick as the body moved through the deep patches of snow that crunched beneath their weight. A soft sigh escaped from the woman, as in silence she walked with the boy towards where he worded, was the path. Ducking from time to time from a fallen branch that came into view as she was moving across the snow she sunk into. She depended on the stick, like it was holding her life as she trusted in this man as they walked through snow hill top.

The gentle blush on his cheek, only made the woman sigh as she watched in slight amusement, watching as his eyes searched the area ahead, how he awaited in what seemed to be suspicion at first before he came to a slight stop, releasing her hand and causing Hunni to lean back against her walking stick as he looked around the area. Again the sound of paper could be heard rustling, a small smile found it's way on faded pedals as she watched the man scribble another secret message to her. When he reached over to hand it to her, she balanced herself and took the paper, now noticing the steel cuff around his wrist her jaw would drop but slightly. And a soft blush would find her cheeks before looking down to this paper and reading the words written upon it.

Smiling from this note, she could only shake her head with a slight bit of embarrassment as she watched the man take some steps away from her and down this hill. She would watch as those yellow hues ditched and darted across the area, her own brown orbs so indulged into the face of the man how interesting he was, yet he was so quiet. It was actually quite comforting, as she reached out to take his hand again moving down the hill towards him as she was almost oblivious of the tracks that surrounded them. She wasn't much of a hunter or even a tracker, she moved down the hill the snow crunching beneath her boots as she followed his lead.

''At least I know I will be safe, wandering through the forest with a knight by my side... But I have to ask dear knight, do you use Morse-Code or anything with your hands? I can understand Morse-Code and Hand Sign Language.'' A soft blush touched her cheeks, and she quickly started moving down the hill again.

The smile fades from his lips as Logan walks down the pathway to act as a guide for Hunni. Those yellow orbs looks around for any hostile activity only to find nothing out of the ordinary. Can’t be too careful when walking down the pathway. Who knows what would be lurking in the snow. Ducking down the branches as he go, those yellow orbs looks down at the pathway before him. His other hand rise up to rest against his forehead to get a better look of the bottom of the hill. With the hand moves from the forehead, Logan continues moving down the hill with his hand holding onto Hunni’s hand. Logan listens to Hunni’s words and before he knew it, his boots comes to a complete stop at the halfway point of the pathway. The gaze advert back to her to see that blush on her cheeks as Logan found it…intriguing to think at least.

Seeing that blush on her cheeks brought a light smile on his lips. Quickly, he shakes his head as he turns his gaze from her. A hand moves up to the side of his cheek to let his digit rub up against the side of the temple. Now that she mention it, he did remember that he was taught how to do Morse Code and Sign Language back at the facility. However, he thought that it’ll be a waste of time to use them unless it was an emergency. That, and he relies little on them both but he didn’t know that she understands them both. Logan find this even more intriguing as his silence is all-so-comforting. Though, Logan just remains silent for the answer as this isn’t the right time for it until they reached the bottom of the hill. Besides, there is a chance that if Logan does some Morse Code, then there’s a chance that he might wake something nearby.

Those yellow orbs gaze up at Hunni, then he clearly looks away only to continue on trekking on down to the bottom of the hill. Calmly ducking down the branch that impedes their path towards the bottom with his hand gripping on the branch to pull it up with some effort from his part so she can go through. Once she went through the branch, he lets go of the branch as he continues on downward. When those yellow orbs sees the bottom of the hill just a few feet away. They are almost there, just a couple of steps of the impeding pathway. Those black leather boots mush through the snow with that end in sight, a cold air expels from those lips of his. It seems that the cold is starting to get to him as a shiver is coursing through his form.

Those eyes starts to dilate as his vision starts to blur a bit. Next, he starting to feel a little woozy, so he quickly shakes his head as a hand gently placed against his forehead to regain composure. His vision, that was once a bit blur, returns to normal. At last, he has reached the end of the pathway as he comes into a stop for a brief respite. Once she has reach the bottom as well, he kindly let go of her hand. Turning his direction to Hunni, those yellow orbs gaze right at her with that almost calm expression on his face. Both of his hands rise up and basically starts to do what he calls sign language to Hunni. It was a bit tough at first, but eventually he got the hang of it.

Basically, he saying using sign language, “I’m quite surprised…to find someone that can understand sign language and Morse code. I mean I know how to do both of them, but I don’t rely on these because if I used them… No one would understand what I am trying to say. So, I use the notepad to make things more easier for me and them. Anyways, we’ve made it. This is easier than taking the dangerous slope that's for sure." Those yellow orbs gaze over the snowy field before turning his attention to Hunni and signing, “Well, its not long until we reach school or town. Whichever is closest for your convenience, but I think we should go the infirmary where someone can treat your ankle. If not, I can try my best to help. Anyway, let us go back. They are probably worried sick or something.” Logan makes a nod and does the sign language once more, “And...you are a nice person for a fair lady such as yourself.. Don't let others take you for granted, okay?" Was that a compliment from Logan? A light shade of pink has been made as he simply turns himself around and slowly walks through the snowy field to school.

Walking in the snow, with soft crunches beneath her boot as her head hung down to watch Logan’s feet as he led her down the path, only ducking when he ducked as well. Then suddenly he came to a stop, and she ran into him, with her jaw dropping as she jumped back quickly. As she did this outrageous act, her ankle split into pain once more as she landed on both feet, not thinking of her injury. Arms stretched out to either side of her body, releasing his hand in the process and waved about around her body trying to catch her balance once again.

Then the look on his face made her worry for a moment as she could tell he was lost in thought. His moving quickly, made her jet forward catching her balance from a tree, and then hopping along the path following him down. Giving him a gentle smile as she ducked beneath the branch then followed through until they came down to the open field where she first saw the snow, with the blood spoiled spots of snow that were shaped in little rabbit foot prints. Giving off a small smile at this, watching as soft drifts of snow chased after Logan and herself as they came from the forest of the lost. Her dark hues watched in silence as she could see the snow dancing in her sights, she lifted her hand up and caught a few of the dancing snowflakes in her hand, watching as they melted away.

Then the movement of Logan caught her view, quickly she lifted her head to see him shake his head. This made her worry about him, it was quite cold out and he had given her his jacket to stay warm. His jacket. Those brown hues grew large against her face and then she moved and pulled the jacket from her shoulders and caught it in her hands. Coming up behind Logan she placed the jacket on his shoulders. She was quite warm from having it on this entire time and gently rubbed at his shoulders as she laid the jacket against him. Then quickly took a few steps back, hobbling just slightly as she did. Her vision caught sight of both the school and the town.

The movement of his hands caught her attention again and she stood there as her dark hues watched his hands. At first he was a bit clumsy and then quickly he got used to it and sorted through some sentences formed, leaving a slight smile on her face. He was such a kind man to have come and rescued her from the darkness that ran through the woods in the shadows as she trotted through. Then quickly she spoke with a soft and gentle whisper, even through all of the epidemics that surrounded her day. ’’Well, with me I’ve learned many things in my life, I’ve even learned how to lip read with people so if you can form words….’’ Her voice trailed off as she watched him form more sentences then waited through it all before smiling at his thought. Once more she spoke to the silent man of many words.

’’Worried sick? Perhaps…But I find that your idea of going to the infirmary very inviting… That or bed would be a most brilliant idea… The pain in my leg is hurting me quite furiously so I can only hope for a rest when we get to the school… If you decide to stick with me that long , that is…’’ The color on her face mixed once more with a soft blush and she could only help but stare up towards the school taking a deep breath before she started to hobble towards the school. Only looking back at Logan for a moment, with a gentle smile on her face, then she turned back to the school and leaned on the walking stick until she heard it crack beneath her weight. ’’Uh-Oh…’’ It gave beneath her weight, and quickly she caught herself before falling into the snow.

The snow feels nice across the touch of his face. He has never felt the soft touch of the snow until now. After climbing up the snowy hill for exploring only to save a woman in distress named Hunni from something or someone that’s after her. A part of him was wondering what was after her, but he decides to dismiss it as it only prolong the journey back to school. Its was probably some wild animal or something. Those yellow-tinted orb gaze right up to see tiny snowflakes falling from the sky. This is the first that he has seen such nice weather from the sky. Opening up his palm only to touch the snowflakes against the palm of his hand. His thumb caress the remains of the snowflakes only to find that it disappeared once it touched the palm of his hand. That hand closes into a fist not just once but twice to know the meaning of this.

Fully clench his hand into a fist as his hand falls to his side with those eyes looking forward to the destination ahead. Just then, his jacket was draped over his shoulders followed by a gentle caress from her shoulders. Quickly, those yellow eyes gaze over at Hunni as a slight smile starts to show. He forgotten that he offer her his jacket for warmth. It was a humane thing for him to him to provide some warmth for another. He has forgotten that his body was getting cold from being in the snowy field for so long. When Logan learns that she has learned many things in her life, including lip reading, a lone brow was raised following by the silent wording, “You can?” Logan cannot help but to smile on this one, but cannot help but to listen what she has to say.

However, the last sentence that she spoke, ‘If you decide to stick with me that long, that is…Huh? Was that an invitation? Quickly, he shakes his head from side to side. Maybe he was dreaming. Yeah. That’s it. Everything is a dream to him and he’s need a wake up call, but strangely enough. This is really happening, and Logan doesn’t know how to respond. Those gaze avert towards Hunni hobbling towards the school. Both of his eyes are slowly closed as he puts on his leather jacket. Logan begins to move towards Hunni only to see there’s a crack on the walking stick. This worries him as Logan tries to place both of his hands against her shoulders.

Logan’s gaze caught Hunni’s as a hand moves from her shoulder to sign, ~Are you okay?~ He was concern because of the walking stick gave weight. ~How about I offer my shoulder for support until we get to the infirmary, but a bed is a great idea. How about this? We can stop at the courtyard as a rest stop and to ease some pain from your leg. I can take you to your room or the infirmary, if that’s okay. Besides, I-I want to stick along with you. If that’s okay with you?~ His other hand falls from her shoulder as those eyes meet before he turns his gaze away from her. A hand moves on top of his head only to scratch the top of his head, while one of his eyes is closed. Logan is not used to say or even sign to these types of situation and often times leave him with an embarrassing note. Logan moves close to Hunni and offer his shoulder for support until they reach to the courtyard of the school.

Fading sunlight a last notice of the dark dreamy night descending on the adventures of the day, dampening the bright sky with soft colors of faded glory. Hues of soft pink, of glorious yellow and deepening red dotted the horizon with such frivolous color that only sparked the imagination. The chirping of the birds, settling in their homes as the cool breeze of the north came with a gust. A tossing sheet of white snow pushed across the ground all around the two bodies fumbling out from the woods. The forest of darkening light, where sound seemed amplified by the stature of still snow and grazing rabbits. The chill of the cold wind was almost shocking as the snow would seem to melt as the yard made its way towards the school.

Then she felt it, she could feel a warmth that was unrecognized. A pressure within the warmth that was quite unusual, this made her head turn. The balance she held with the most ambiguity as the body would simple shift against the better ankle. The long strands of dark hair would swoop over the caramel color of the skin, so that faded eyes could fix on Logan’s. With a soft smile gently pushing its way against the curve of pink, pushing the baby faced cheeks up with a dimple pressing it’s way onto the skin. ’’Logan… Thank you…’’ Her arm would raise, and her wrist would sit on his shoulder in a gentle manner as she held herself stable between her other leg and Logan’s shoulder.

A soft sound, Hunni took a deep breath as she started to walk forwards, waiting for Logan of course to help lead the way. With a gentle smile on her face still, she would nod only slight in his direction. ’’I think going to the infirmary will be a great idea…I can get patched up, and perhaps a new set of legs for the time being.’’ She would jester in his direction of the fact that she could really use a pair of crutches, instead of having to take time out of Logan’s day to help her along. ’’I would be honored if you’d help me find my way Logan.’’ He said something about the courtyard and that caught her attention.

Her eyes would watch the sun as it’s colors would fill her face with a gentle warmth that felt like it was filling her inside and out with a gentle glow. The corner of her eye would watch Logan, and with a gentle touch from her free hand, to his arm she would motion towards the horizon with the setting sun in place. ’’Isn’t it beautiful?’’ She would say with a joyous warm smile settling on her lips, shattering the cold like how a cup of hot cocoa felt it filled the soul.

He was completely lost in thought about his next thing that he has to do, but he was completely has a duty of taking her to the infirmary to get her patch up. Logan gaze at her arm against his shoulder as Logan is currently standing beside her. Keeping himself stable as a hand tries to grasp gently on her wrist. With that out of the way, Logan begins to move forward as Hunni would move forward hoping that way they would be stable along the way. It was a rough day for them, but they have managed to get out of there alive. He’s hoping that he won’t have to have the same experience again. Then again, it was breathtaking to get the glimpse of the forest as it was really exotic. That, and being thanked is somehow quite rewarding for doing good to others. Those yellow eyes caught a glimpse of the fading sunlight before those eyes looks forward on the journey to continue on forward. Logan lightly nods his head in response for that. The destination is set and that’s to go to the infirmary, but first to make a brief respite at the courtyard to catch his breath, if possible.

‘I would be honored if you’d help me find my way Logan.’ Upon hearing those words from her lips, his attention turns to Hunni as his free hand would extend out and does a sign language. ~The honor is mine. I’ll lead you to safety. Like you said before, your have your knight by your side to help you, right?~ A smile seems to form on those lips of his before looking straight forward and moving forward. Sure, he was a little tired, but he wasn’t gonna give up until the destination is reached. Logan continues moving forward close to the school when he felt the gentle touch from his arm, so he turns to look at Hunni before motioning on over to the horizon of the setting sun. His lips slightly part as he was in show and awe for the inspiriting beauty of this. It is the first time seeing the sun setting over the horizon, and is beautiful to see the sun set on over the horizon.

He made a stop just to see the setting sun. It was a nice and gentle glow that glistening and gleaming to see like this. Logan turns his gaze over to Hunni as he wanted to sign on how nice it is. So, he raise his hand up only to sign language, ~Yes. I’ve…never seen anything like this before…. Well, let’s get going. We’re almost there.~ His hands lowers to the side as Logan continues to move forward, while keeping her stable with his shoulder. Then, there it is. A clearing that leads to the courtyard of the school, so Logan heads to that direction to help Hunni along.

[will exit as soon as Hunni exits]

The beautiful peach colored sky was but a background to the looming castle that laid just a way down the path, shadows pulling at its walls making it seem bigger than it actually was. Taking a deep breath, the warmth of touch spiraled her mind once again as he touched her wrist. Struggling with herself to keep balanced she continue to move forward with Logan as he stepped on. With but a gentle smile on her lips as they stopped intermittenly for him to converse with her by sign language. When he spoke of the knight part, it only made her smile real which caused a slight color change above her cheeks.

As he took a step forward again, Hunni adjusted herself and moved with him in a slight limp to ease the pressure from her leg. From the billowing cold touch of wind, frosted with gentle flakes of snow coming at their backs, only as a gentle reminder of the snow tipped trees and covered treasures of a colder time. With his grasp on her wrist, with a shake of her head as she moved along with Logan, silent Logan.

In a blink of an eye it'd seem like the sunset was gone beyond the reaches of the castle like school. Only the shade of pink and yellows reaching over the darkness that encompassed the school walls. As there were no doors on this side of the school and they would have to walk around through the courtyard to get to it. With a happy-go-lucky smile on her face, grinning all to well to hide the pain that carved it's way into her jawline. The thought of the infirmary then bed seemed like a better idea with every step she took over the soft touch of grass.

[Exit with Logan.]
