History:
Karina is a light Seelie, a kind and gentle creature with an affinity for happiness and practical jokes. Their kind have always mixed well with humans, though in more recent years modernization has left many to believe her people no longer exist.
The oldest daughter of a large family, Karina was always the show off. She excelled in education and magical aptitude, and always wanted to know more. Wanting to set an example for her younger siblings (all 6 of them!) she begged her parents to send her to a college to expand her knowledge of the world. But, the risks of going to a human school were too great - Caislin Hollows seemed to be the perfect answer. Not only would she be protected from the prying eyes of humans, but she would have the chance to satisfy her curiosities about the human world, the magical world, and her own people.
